yea! i am back from malaysia yesterday! It was a five day trip. 27 nov to 1 dec. The trip was fun and interesting. And most importantly, i get to see the nature and also get to know MORE abt some people. =) Although there were some unhappy incidents, i still enjoyed the trip. I din buy a lot of stuffs too, although the stuffs there were quite cheap. I din bring enough rm too.
First day. We cleared custom at around 9.30am. Then we had our breakfast at a hawker centre in JB, then we left for malacca. We toured around and shopped at makhota parade after dinner. Nothing really happened. But i was glad that i bought an original nokia headset with a super cheap price! RM 12. omg!!! Our hotel was a resort. water city.
Second day. We traveled to selangor, kopeng from malacca. Visited the FRIM. Had a nature trail there. We met a lot of worms and leeches. And some girls were screaming all the way, although it was only a branch! =) We had much later in KL, at a chinese restaurant. After lunch, we went for the pretronas twin tower-sky bridge visit. hmm, not as interesting as what i have thought. I could only see KL and the outskirt of the city. (- After all the visits, we had 2 hours of free time to shop in KLCC. The things there are so expensive. So we din buy anything. And the shopping is so big, with 6 exits. LOL. we were supposed to assemble at ramlee mall, but we ended up sprawling around, looking for the correct exit! =) We had a good rest after dinner in an indian restaurant.
Third day. We headed to Gopeng for Gua Tempurung cave. It is a limestone cave. We crawled into the cave to take a look at the karst landscape with our naked eye. The water in there is so cold!! The path was extremely rocky. Our whole body was soaked in water. We swam through cold water, climbed up the slippery slopes, slide down the steep slopes and climbed down tiny holes. FUN!! But having said that, i was very pissed off with one person during the cave trail. (- We came out of the cave, wet and smelly. We had our buffet lunch at a small kopitiam there. After lunch, we headed to river kampar by lorry. The lorry ride was so funny! we laughed and screamed a lot. We were busying shunning from the branches around us at the same time. We did not manage to take river measurements due to the monsoon seasons. We had a great time with miss pam too. =) After a dirty day, we check in to a hotel in Ipoh. It was quite troublesome for the few of us as we had to clean and dry our shoes. Then we had dinner at cafe, which was beside a pub. The food there was NICE. some how lah, coz i was totally famished after a tired day. After we returned to hotel, i continued to dry my shoes and yixin's one. coz she fell asleep. Turned in quite late as a result. =)
Fourth day. It was really a bad start of the day for me. Something bad happened. Got scolded for nothing. Shall not mention abt this in my blog. After breakfast in the hotel, we set off to cameron highland. Visited a lot of farms such as rose centre, BOH tea plantation and the vegetable farm. The fruits and vegetable there were super fresh! That day was boring, nothing to shop. We checked into the hotel early after lunch at another hotel. We had steamboat for dinner. Steamboat was spelled as "stimbot" there. Restaurant was spelled as "restoran" there. LOL. something wrong with their english there. =) haha. The steamboat dinner was another joke for us, my 6 classmates and the 4 teachers. We did something stupid. Guess what? We mistaken the jar of chinese tea on our table as the soup to refill into the boat!! OMG, really cmi lor!!! No wonder the soup taste weird, especially the tom yam one, not spicy at all! And the worst thing is, we only realise this stupid mistake after we poured in 3/4 of our food!! haha. but nevertheless, we enjoyed our steamboat dinner. In fact, this was the most wonderful dinner i had during these five days. Tea steamboat, have u eaten before? GOSH!! We created something new!! haha. How creative of us!!
Fifth day, which is also our last day. I wanna stay in malaysia although i miss home. haha!! We only visited the waterfall at the foot of cameron highland and then return to singapore. The road dowm cameron highland was super winding! I vomitted all the way down. The bus driver had to stop a few times to allow me to get some fresh air outside. Had lunch at the highway in Seremban. Reached cck at around 6pm.
My pictures are not really ready yet. It is scattered everywhere. Some are with my friends. hehe. Going to visit my kor and laoda tomorrow!! yeepee!! =)
